The National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions (MNATP), founded in 1937 by Georges Henri Rivière, and located since 1972, at the door of Sablons in the Bois de Boulogne, near the Zoological Gardens in the 16th arrondissement of Paris was a museum of ethnology, which presented an overall view of French society traditional rural craft and for the most part since the nineteenth century until the 1960s.
