Jardin des Plantes is the biggest botanical garden on Paris which holds more than 10000 species such as a rose garden, winter garden and alpine. In fact, you can find there the large tropical greenhouse of the garden which is open again their doors in 2010 after important construction work of renovation which lasts six years. It is recommended to visit the interior of the structure which are splendid like the oldest greenhouse in the functioning world. In addition, this superb place existed thanks to the doctor Louis XIII who got a royal garden of medicinal plants in 1926 which was open to the public in 1640. During rainy days, there is also the Ménagerie and the impressive Grande Galerie de l'Evolution. Very old trees exist s well in this place. Brief, this is an ideal spot to stroll around 1000 species of plants and flowers as well as go for walks with children under the sun and kissing on the bench in the shade of rose trees.
