The Champ-de-Mars stretches out from the Eiffel Tower to the Military school. Ancient military parade ground of the Ecole Militaire students, it was transformed into a parc between 1908 and 1928. The first parisians horse-courses begun from 1780 to the in auguration of the Hippodrome de Longchamp.The Champ-de-Mars was the place of the World's Fairs between 1867 and 1937, the Eiffel Tower was the celebrity of the 1889's Fair.
