Le théâtre de l'Odéon was finally independent in 1983 after being linked with Comedia Française two times. It was actually built in 1797 and has now a large room that can hold 962 seats and other piece with 50 seats called Petit odéon. Besides, les Ateliers Berthier has been officially the second piece of l'Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe with a capacity of 395 seats.
