The museum covers, in the Marais, the 17th century Hotel of Aubert-de-Fontenay, who was a salt tax collector. The collections were put together from the dating as payment of the artist's inheritance tax. Anexceptional set of works of the artist : 203 paintings,158 sculptures as well as ceramics, drawings, etchings, etc
