For today's Parisians, covered arcade have lost none of their charm.Similar to the small, winding streets of a city within a city, they remain popular places for strolling and shopping.Built at the end af the 18th century, it wasn't until the 19th century that they became popular as elegant clients, drawn by the refined setting, flocked to them to do their shopping.
