From June 6 to 12, the Champs Elysees Film Festival is holding its first edition. An event that poses a clear intention: the seventh art in the center of attention.
New event joins the list of movies of the summer festivals. Decidedly, the Champs-Elysées are the subject of much envy. In February the Avenue Theater was born in June, the most beautiful avenue in the world will receive the Paris Film Festival. A meeting chaired by Franco-American actors Michael Madsen and Lambert Wilson and initiated by the producer, distributor and operator of cinema, Sophie Dulac.

From June 6 to 12, the Balzac, the Gaumont Champs-Elysees, the Lincoln and the UGC George V will share programming Champs Elysees Film Festival, nearly 50 films and 100 screenings. Premieres, tributes and international panorama will be added to the films in official selection. For this first edition, the festival put on a record so diverse classic and independent films.

The main thrusts of the Festival:

Official Selection: one week, the festival will focus on presenting features and short films that will compete for the Audience Award in the categories of independent American films

Tabloid and three documentaries of Errol Morris, Marina Abramovic: this is the artist Matthew Akers and Blank City Celine Danhier.
Harvey Weinstein and Donald Sutherland: the two men will be guests of honor at the festival and will each be awarded a prize. The opportunity to return to their work throughout the event, between screenings and discussions.

Previews French and American: a series of French films (Goodbye Bertha, the Clinic of love ...) and American (After Life, Terri ...) will be projected before their release. A selection of 18 films of all genres.

All the Oscars of the world: a new selection of films competing for the Oscar for best foreign film. 7 feature films from Europe and elsewhere, vying for the prize.
