Play Me I'm Yours: 40 pianos are self-service in Paris until July 8
Play Me, I’m yours
Created in 2008 by British artist Luke Jerram, the project Play Me, I'm yours has traveled around the world. Play Me I'm yours invades Paris! 40 pianos will be installed in the streets of the capital from June 22 to July 8, either in tourist spots, popular areas or parks and gardens of the city. The pianos will be available for passersby to play and share their love of music from 9:30 to 8:30 p.m. each day. Buoyed by the enthusiasm and expertise of the Community Agency, which has not hesitated to produce the event, the draft Play Me I'm yours has also been adapted and enriched! We also invite all lovers of Play Me I'm Yours to be found in the gardens of the Palais Royal to be spectators of a brand new concert pianos to 40 the day of the Fete de la Musique. This space has been specially created for you! Share your impressions of the event, your movies or photos, and stay informed of the 40 pianos on a daily basis. After spending 17 days in the streets of Paris, the adventure will continue for all pianos will be graciously loaned to players on the local associations, community centers and many others, until the next Paris edition in 2013.
