The Mairie de Paris celebrate the 5th anniversary of Vélib 'around a free event and solidarity, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June. A unique festival will now call the mobilization of all: 24 hours of Vélib '! For nearly five years, the Vélib 'is returned in the lives of many Parisians. The offer Vélib 'is the largest in the world with 28,000 bicycles spread stations in 1800 and nearly 220,000 subscribers. For this anniversary, the municipality, with the assistance of the Agency Event Australia, and Gildas Robert, head of communications at the Mobility Mayor of Paris, wished to organize a 24-hour event on the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Champs Elysees!

Many activities will be offered during those 24 hours: a village-learning courses for cycling children, musical entertainment and above all a great relay Sunday, June 24 from 8:00 to 20:00 on a loop of 1500 meters, with 250 Vélib 'provided for this purpose.
