Musée Carnavalet

One of the most famous and interesting photographer of the late nineteenth century. A Must.

The exhibition presents a selection of 181 tests performed in Paris between 1898 and 1924, from the collections of the museum, usually not shown to the public.

Man Ray collected photographs of Eugene Atget, the exhibition shows some insight into the influence that Atget was the surrealist artist.

In addition, 40 photos Emmanuel Pottier, a contemporary of Atget, will be presented on the same theme: Paris.
