Located on 13, avenue of President Wilson in the 16è arrondissement of Paris, this building has been erected in 1937 during the Art and Technique International Exhibition. Then it has been closed since 1995 and been reopened in 2002. Palais de Tokyo has become nowadays a n edifice intended for modern and contemporary art. By the way, its original name has been “Palace of modern art museums”.
