With a view to big works planned in 2013 in its shop Rue Cambon, which will begin in 2014, Chanel opens early March two new temporary shops Rue Saint-Honoré, a few meters away. The opening will coincide logically with the festivities of the fashion week in Paris.
The first shop - and also the largest - is at 380 from the street in the place of the old shop of Carlos Miele and will distribute accessories and shoes Chanel Cruise Spring-Summer 2013. The other commercial premises will open the same day at the corner of Saint-Honoré and Duphot, just in front of the shop John Galliano. This time, the shop of 80 m² formerly rented by the label MinaPoe, will be devoted to the beauty Chanel, including collections of fragrances The Exclusifs. The shop founded in 1918 by Coco Chanel must undergo a major renovation from early 2013 to include new areas and adopt a concept inspired by the boutique-lounge opened on Avenue Montaigne in 2012 signed Peter Marino. At 19 Rue Cambon, the whole building was
bought back by the Chanel group, offices and several commercial were taken over, including an Apostrophe shop and a retailer multibrands nearby. Works between offices, workshops and trade, must be completed by the end of 2016 (!).
Until that time, 900 m² of offices have been invested by the luxury group in the building that replaces Madelios, the former department store of man in northern of Rue Duphot, not far from the original shop and studio Rue Cambon. The brand with double C was not up until then present through its own boutiques on Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Rue Royale and Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
