Cernuschi Museum is organizing a new exhibition entitled "Vietnam, nouvelles acquisitions" from July 3 to November 4, 2018. Many ceramics and some bronzes illustrate the following periods. The paintings and drawings date from the twentieth century.
In 2017 the museum was marked by several donations of great importance for its Vietnamese collections, a set of thirteen works from écoles des beaux-arts de la Cochinchine (south of Vietnam) and dating from the years 1930 - 1940, was generously donated by Mr. Marcel Schneyder, then Baignade de Mai Thứ by Mai Lan Phuong, daughter of the artist and finally a set of works from another register came to enrich the Vietnamese archaeological collections: four jars including three presented during the hanging, are impressive pieces by their size, quality and rarity of their decor.
The entrance to this exhibition is free.
