Galerie Pixi presents for the second time an exhibition dedicated to the artist Duncan Hannah from April 11 to June 30, 2019, where he will present amazing works, between painting and collage.
The opening is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 from 6pm until 9pm. The Parisian public will be able to discover at the gallery these astonishing works, made of reminiscences and nostalgias, whose style recalls at first sight the painting of Edward Hopper, Balthus and Francis Picabia. Portraits of actresses from Alfred Hitchcock's films, representations of old automobiles and scenes of an eerie strangeness rub shoulders with the series of covers of Penguin books, which testify at the same time to his taste for concise forms, the acidic colors and literature.
The collages reveal Duncan Hannah's connections with the 1970s punk and underground world in New York
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 2:30pm to 7pm.
Address: 95 Rue de Seine 75006
