UGC George-V cinema on the Champs-Élysées will close
Due to confinement, since March 15, the UGC George-V cinema on the Champs-Élysées has been closed. The place is known for its many previews, making it one of the most popular movie buffs in Paris. After more than 82 years of existence on the Champs-Elysées, inaugurated in 1938 and renamed in the 1950s, it will definitively close its doors on June 30, 2020 and give way to a future luxury hotel.
