Josep Maria Sert, painter and designer (1874-1945).

Entertain eye exposure: Josep Maria Sert, a decorative painter (1874-1945) proposes to reveal the art and personality of a great painter decorator unjustly ignored by the French public. It is also to present the working method of Sert and through it his will and his aesthetic thought of the Art.

The workshop (and organization) is the thread that helps paint a portrait of a controversial artist. Important personalities in his time, Sert became friends with artists, intellectuals and the great mundane the most diverse musicians (Albéniz, Stravinsky, Debussy), artists (Degas, Denis, Picasso), writers (Cocteau, Claudel, Proust), politicians (Berthelot, Cambó) and prominent personalities (Diaghilev, Chanel) were part of his circle of friends.
