To celebrate the opening of the new Centre Culturel Coréen in Paris, an exhibition entitled "Tekkal, colors of Korea"

To celebrate the opening of the new Centre Culturel Coréen in Paris, an exhibition entitled "Tekkal, colors of Korea" is organized for this occasion from November 21 to February 14, 2020. Invites visitors, through 208 traditional and contemporary works of art, to understand the meaning and use of colors in the life and culture of Koreans. The yellow color symbolizes the Earth, which corresponds to the center of the universe, then the blue color, associated with the Wood and the East, represents the spring, period when life is reborn after the winter season, the white color is the symbol of the Metal, in autumn and the West, the red color is associated with passion, feelings and action, and it governs the sun, fire and blood, and finally black color, which represents water, winter and the North, control the wisdom of men. This exhibition is produced in collaboration with Musée National du Folklore de Corée.
