Centre Culturel Coréen moves in the 8th arrondissement of Paris from 20 November 2019
Le Centre Culturel Coréen move into the 8th district of Paris in a new establishment more spacious who will open on November 20, 2019. It will be located between Avenue des Champs-Elysées and Gare Saint-Lazare, not far from palais de l’Elysée. The news place has an area of 3300 m2 (almost 5 times the area of its current located at Centre actuel de l’avenue d’Iéna), many more activities and events. With its ultra-modern multi-purpose hall (concerts, cinema, conferences, etc.), two large exhibition spaces, an extensive library and numerous spaces for art workshops and Korean courses, this new place is destined to become, the center of Korean culture in Paris. It will help to discover this one in all its richness and its diversity. The project was entrusted to South Korean architect and engineer AHN Tae-Jun. On the occasion of its inauguration on 20 November, Centre Culturel Coréen host a very beautiful exhibition in collaboration with the National Museum of Folklore of Korea on a specific theme: "Traditional Korean colors".
